Bonnie's Story
Why she became a sleep consultant
When my oldest daughter was about 4 months old, she started struggling with sleep, waking every 1-2 hours needing my help (and only my help) to put her back to sleep and not napping for more than 30 minutes during the day.
I realized I knew nothing about baby sleep and felt completely lost, while also wondering how I was possibly going to be the mom I wanted to be when I knew my mental health was severely impacted by sleep, and of course, lack of sleep. I started researching everything I could about infant and child sleep and once I ‘solved her sleep puzzle’ and got our family sleeping better, it was life-changing.
I found myself still wanting to learn more about sleep and the science behind it and felt excited about the possibility of being able to help other parents and families get the sleep they all need.
I have also always been passionate about mental health, especially maternal mental health since becoming a mom, and felt even more drawn to helping families with sleep because of the importance of good sleep for mental health. This led to a complete career change and becoming a certified sleep consultant.
"My goal is to help parents not have the stress of trying to solve their baby’s puzzle on their own."
I believe that there is not a one-size-fits-all approach to sleep because each family and child is different. I want to educate and empower families to feel confident as we work together to meet their sleep goals in a way that is right for their family.
How we work with families
Evidence-based, not trend-based
Plans are backed by science and support is adapted to your child. Every recommendation is rooted in peer-reviewed pediatric sleep research.
Flexible, family-centered methods
There's no single approach for sleep. Our consultants work with your parenting values and comfort level, so the plan feels just right.
Education over prescription
We help you understand the plan, not just follow it. You get the "why" behind each step, so you can respond with confidence.
