Pediatric Sleep Consultant
Katie Blackwell
Katie has worked in the sleep consulting field since 2021, her passion for infant and child sleep began with the birth of her twin boys. As a military spouse, she has experienced long periods of parenting on her own. After seeking support from a sleep consultant, Katie discovered that better sleep could help her family not only survive those demanding early years, but truly thrive. With a background in psychology and social work, Katie has always understood the importance of nurturing healthy development and a strong parent-child bond. She was thrilled to learn that healthy sleep habits and secure attachment do not have to compete. Today, she is passionate about helping families find sleep solutions that support both rest and connection.
Katie's Story
Why she became a sleep consultant
My own family has hopped across hemispheres more than once, so I understand how disruptive big moves can be.
"And when my daughter was an infant, she faced serious ENT issues and severe sleep apnea that led to an ICU stay — an experience that shaped the empathy and urgency I bring to my work."
How we work with families
Evidence-based, not trend-based
Plans are backed by science and support is adapted to your child. Every recommendation is rooted in peer-reviewed pediatric sleep research.
Flexible, family-centered methods
There's no single approach for sleep. Our consultants work with your parenting values and comfort level, so the plan feels just right.
Education over prescription
We help you understand the plan, not just follow it. You get the "why" behind each step, so you can respond with confidence.
